I love to surprise my children. Since I made the Easter Bunny Bread, and I saw their joy off having a different bread for breakfast, I decided to dive into this topic.
It is already known that I love making bread. That smell of freshly baked bread always takes me to my grandmother’s house. That’s what cooking is all about, traveling through the past, through other lands, other cultures.
My grandmother always woke up very early to bake bread. Bread baked in a wood oven, the old-fashioned way, with that characteristic flavor that today’s ovens cannot replicate. Along with the bread came the smell of coffee from the coffee maker. Memories of a childhood full of good times.
The breads are very simple to shape. We just need to open the dough, cut the body with a larger round shape, and the eyes with a smaller one. Put your eyes on top and put the raisins.
